Sound license.
A plain-language summary of what you can do with Lit Loops sounds.
Effective August 7, 2026. This license applies to each sound you lawfully download from Lit Loops using credits assigned to your account.
You may
- Use sounds in original musical compositions, beats, songs, albums, videos, films, games, podcasts, live performances, broadcasts, social content, advertising, and client work.
- Edit, chop, layer, pitch, stretch, process, and combine sounds with other creative material.
- Release and monetize finished work worldwide without paying Lit Loops additional royalties.
- Collaborate with artists, producers, engineers, and clients on a finished project.
You may not
- Sell, share, sublicense, upload, or redistribute a sound by itself or as part of another sample pack, loop library, preset library, stock-audio library, or competing service.
- Claim authorship or exclusive ownership of an unmodified Lit Loops sound.
- Use a sound to train a machine-learning or generative model, or make it available for model training, without written permission.
- Transfer your account, credits, or download access to another person.
Non-exclusive license
The license is non-exclusive. Other members may lawfully use the same sound. Lit Loops retains ownership of the source recording and grants you a perpetual license to use it in finished creative work, subject to these terms.
Content ID
Do not register an isolated Lit Loops sound with a content-identification system in a way that blocks other licensed users. If you register a finished composition, you are responsible for clearing mistaken claims involving shared source material.
