How do downloads work?
1 credit = 1 sound download: one loop, one one-shot, or one individual MIDI file where available. Producer includes 200 downloads each month, Pro 500, and Studio 1,000. New annual plans are billed once yearly and add downloads monthly. Existing plans keep their original allocation schedule.
Do unused downloads expire?
Your unused downloads remain available throughout your active paid membership. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Can I use the sounds commercially?
Yes. Sounds downloaded through an active Lit Loops account are royalty-free and approved for commercial use under our sound license. You may use them in songs, films, games, performances, client work, and monetized content. You may not resell or redistribute isolated sounds.
What format are the sounds?
Audio is delivered as high-quality WAV wherever applicable and may include stems when noted.
What happens if I run out of downloads?
Members with an active paid subscription can buy additional downloads from the membership page without changing their subscription.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel from your membership page at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal; credits already in your account remain available under the current account terms.
Can I browse before joining?
Absolutely. Anyone can search the library. Guests may preview up to 10 sounds before being asked to log in or choose a membership.
Can sounds preview directly in my DAW?
Real-time DAW preview is coming soon. For now, use the browser player to audition sounds instantly.
